From humble beginnings as a 4-room rainforest hideaway to a newly constructed resort, hotel owners Jason & Mike have lived on this property for over 25 years. In doing so they have built a strong knowledge and understanding of the area and the challenges it faces. As a result, Jason & Mike are fully committed to a holistic approach in the way they interact with the resort staff, the local community, and the environment.

Copa De Arbol’s mission is to protect this delicate and magical area by establishing partnerships with Costa Rican conservationist while employing local staff so that they may earn a living by protecting their lands rather than depleting its resources.
